Germany is the third most popular study destination in the world after the US and the UK. German Universities are among the world’s most renowned and prestigious Universities in Science, Humanities, Technology, Sport and Art. Their degrees accepted and recognized world wide and graduates from German universities are highly sought after world wide. Tuition is also FREE in German Universities. There are 2 types of Universities in German
- Applied Universities
- Technical Universities
There are many opportunities which can allow you to move to Germany to study coming from a non EU country like Zimbabwe. One of the opportunities (University Direct) is a big expensive. This is where you are going to be funding yourself (accommodation, food) while studying in Germany. Before you leave for Germany you have to put €10 000 in a German bank (blocked account).
The second route most students are using to get into Universities is by going through an Apprenticeship program which lasts for 3 years. At the end you get a Diploma . If you want to turn your diploma into a degree you do two more years of Apprenticeships.
